As of 8/2024, we no longer offer shared colo because we now offer a 2U lockable cabinet that we design in-house.
  2. What is the smallest colo space that you offer?
Our smallest colo is a 2U dedicated lockable cabinet. If you are interested in getting a 2U colo in another datacenter that does not yet have this, please let us know.
  3. How much power can I get in a cabinet?
Our cabinet is designed for a 5 KW load by default. However, we can customize and reconfigure our datacenter to support up to 20 KW per cabinet. If you need more, we can design and build it based on your requirements.
  4. Do you offer cage space?
    Yes, we do.
  5. Can I get A and B power?
Most definitely! Our datacenter is set up with redundancy in mind. Our UPS infrastructure is set up as 2N, so you get power from UPS-A and a separate power feed from UPS-B.

Absolutely! We have 100% SLA (Service Level Agreement) for power and cooling and 99.99% uptime for the network.
  12. Is your datacenter compliant?
Yes, we are SOC2 Type II audited and PCI compliant. We can help you meet your company’s requirements regarding HIPAA, PCI, and others.
  13. Do you offer unmetered bandwidth?
Yes, we can provide unmetered bandwidth for 1 Gig, 10Gig, or 100Gig.
  14. How do you do bandwidth calculation?
We offer 95%tile or Data Transfer calculation.
  15. Can I bring a new carrier that is not yet in your datacenter?
Absolutely! If you have a carrier that still needs to be put in our datacenter, we will provide the required cabinet space for them free of charge for the first year.
  16. Do I need a contract to get colo from you?
You can choose from month-to-month to a multi-year contract. The choice is yours. Our most important currency is SERVICE. If you use our colo, we know you will love it, so we only require you to have a long-term contract if you are comfortable doing so.
  17. Do you offer IPv6?
Yes, we do, and it’s free.
  18. Can I get more IPv4?
Yes, you can. There is a fee for it.

Yes, you can ship our server to our data center. We will rack and label your server for free.
  22. Can I get KVM/IP?
Yes, we provide on-demand KVM/IP free of charge. (10 hours per use – can be extended when needed)

  24. Can you set up my network/switch for me?
Yes, we can help you completely set up your switch.
  25. If I have multiple cabinets, do I need to pay a monthly fee for Cat5/6/7 or a pair of fiber cross-connects between them?
There is no monthly fee for cross-connects between your cabinets.
  26. Can I cross-connect to a cloud provider such as Azure, AWS, or GCP?
Absolutely! We can interconnect all the major public cloud providers, such as Azure, AWS, GCP, and many other data centers worldwide.
  27. What uplink port can I get?
We can assign cat-x or fiber uplink ports (1/10/100 gig ports).
  28. Can I connect to a diverse switch?
Absolutely! We can provide you with 2 uplinks from our diverse switches for redundancy.
  29. If I point the switch port to the back of the cabinet, my switch airflow flows to the front. Is this a problem?
You should get a switch with the proper airflow direction to keep our cold aisle cold. If you are not picky about what switch to use, please get in touch with us. We stock many switches we can recommend, sell, or rent to you, so you don’t need to worry about sourcing another switch. Alternatively, you can install the switch in the correct airflow orientation and plug in the cables from the front of the cabinet.
  30. I have 2 cabinets full of servers in my office. Can you move all of my servers into your data center
Absolutely. If you are within 50 miles of our datacenter (12201 Tukwila Int Blvd, Tukwila, WA 98168), we will even do the physical move for free! (Note: Free physical move requires a minimum of full cabinet colo). We have moved over 200 cabinets (thousands of servers) into our datacenter to give you peace of mind. Some completely moved the whole cabinet full of servers, while others involved removing them from the cabinet and putting them into padded boxes. This applies typically if we are not reusing the cabinet from the originating space.
  31. Can you move cabinet/servers from one of my datacenters to another, not your datacenter?
Yes, we can move servers between 2 offices/datacenters that do not belong to us. Let us know your needs, and we will be happy to help!
  32. Do you offer remote hands in datacenter outside IGW?
Yes, let us know what or where you need help.
  33. I have hundreds of VMs in my current datacenter and would like to move them to a different one. Can you help?
Absolutely! We once moved thousands of production VMs spread over 15 cabinets (in 1 data center in Kansas City) and consolidated them into 2 cabinets in IGW.
  34. I am not in the Seattle area. What can you do to take care of my colo needs?
Our customers worldwide never set foot in our datacenter to rack or troubleshoot their servers. We can do 100% of all the physical aspects of running your colo hardware. We also use 3rd party colo to know what we want or need, and we design or offer such wants or needs to our customers who wish to avoid visiting our DC to take care of their hardware. Things that we can do for you: Rack your servers, install/IP PDU, cable all servers, label all devices, audit your cabinet, organize/audit your storage for spare equipment, troubleshoot your server (replace the CPU, RAM, power supplies, and raid controller), build server, and box up your hardware for outbound delivery. We aim to make it easy for you to operate your computer in our datacenter. Please let us know if you need anything else that is not listed here.

    7. on-demand KVM/IP (free to use up to 24 hours at a time).
  3. Is there a contract?
    1. If you need a “default 2U space,” as listed above, you can do this on a month-to-month contract. Fill out the order form below to place your “default 2U space” order. You can come in the next business day to bring your server and install it.
    2. If you need custom cross-connect or BGP, we will prepare your cabinet in up to 3 business days, and we would require 12 months’ contracts.
  4. Do I need a rail in the cabinet?
The shelf in the 2U cabinet is very sturdy and can easily handle a 70-pound server. You can lay your server inside the cabinet without any rail.
  5. Does the PDU support remote reboot?
No, the PDU does not support remote reboot capability. You can open a ticket with our support team if you need a reboot. Our DC is staffed 24/7 and provides reboots free of charge.
  6. How many power outlets do I get in my 2U cabinet?
    1. By default, you get 2 power outlets: 1 from UPS-A and another outlet from UPS-B for power redundancy.
    2. If you are allocated 3A of power, you can use the 3A from whichever PDU. We monitor based on the aggregate of all power outlets assigned to you in your 2U space.
  7. Can I get 110v power?
No, we only offer 208v power in our 2U cabinet.
  8. I need to power multiple small devices. Can I install a power strip inside my 2U space?
Yes, you can do that. You can also use Y cable.
  9. My server does not have power fans to move air from the front of the cold aisle of the cabinet to the rear. Can I mount an exhaust fan on the rear door to exhaust the hot air from my cabinet?
Yes, you can. Please let us know if you want to do this so we can assist you in ensuring the cable routing and mounting of the fan are secure.
  10. Can I get more power?
    1. Yes, you can use more than 1amp without prior notification.
    2. If you use more than 1amp@208v, you will be automatically charged an additional $50/month/amp over your allocated 1amp. (in increments of 1amp). For example:
      • If you use 1.3amp, you will be charged $50/month extra starting from your next billing cycle onward.
      • If you use 2.4amps, you will be charged $100/month extra starting your next billing cycle onward.
  11. What is the maximum power I can use in 2U space?
The maximum power you can use in a 2U cabinet is 3amps@208v
  12. Can I get redundant power?
By default, you get redundant power outlets from 2 diverse UPS for redundancy.
  13. Can I get 3amps from 1 PDU and another 3amps from another PDU?
No, we give you 2 power outlets for redundancy purposes, not for additional capacity. So, if you get 3amps of power, you can use 1amp on PDU-A and 2amps on PDU-B or 0amps on PDU-A and 3amps on PDU-B.
  14. What happens if I use more than 3amps of power?
    1. If your power usage is over 3 amps, we will notify you of the power overage condition. You must remedy the situation as soon as possible, not more than 72 hours after notification.
    2. You will be billed $50/amp for any power over your 1amp allocation (increment of 1amp)
  15. Why can’t I use more than 3amps in my 2U space?
The PDU in the cabinet has been designed to allocate 3 amps per 2U. If everyone uses more than 3 amps, the PDU breaker can trip and cause an outage in the same cabinet. This is why we strictly do not allow anyone to use more than 3 amps per 2U cabinet.
  16. Will I have 24/7 access to my 2U cabinet?
Yes. You will get one key card to access your cabinet 24/7 by default.
